Peer reviews process
Papers submitted to the Journal will be peer-reviewed by two reviewers, initially relying on a double-blind peer review process. Papers will be reviewed in accordance with the Journal’s review criteria and the reviews should be performed within four weeks. Papers submitted to the Journal are indexed, inter alia, in the Scopus database. The peer review process is based on the following principles:
• The Journal relies in a "double-blind peer review" process,
• Simultaneous submissions of the same manuscript to different journals are prohibited,
• Manuscripts whose wording is not related to the applicable fields of interest are not considered for review,
• Papers will be judges by at least 2 experts and editors will seek additional reviews when needed. Should the editors decide that a further review is required, the authors will be informed of that fact.
• All publication-related decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ reports. The authors of papers that are not accepted are notified of that fact without delay.
• All manuscripts submitted are deemed confidential. We expect our Board of Reviewing Editors, Associate Editors and reviewers to consider manuscripts confidential as well.
• Editors, Associate Editors and reviewers involved in the review process should disclose conflicts of interest resulting from direct competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any of the authors, and shall remove themselves from cases in which such conflicts prevent an objective evaluation from being given. Privileged information or ideas that are obtained through the peer review process must not be used for competitive gain.
• Our peer review process is confidential and the identities of reviewers cannot be revealed.
